Public Review Drafts - Word Format (January 2022)
The City of Pacifica released public review drafts of the Plan Pacifica documents - the General Plan update, new Sharp Park Specific Plan, and draft environmental impact report (DEIR) - on January 7, 2022. This page contains the Microsoft Word-formatted (“Word Format”) text documents used to create the Plan Pacifica documents.
The final official form of the Plan Pacifica documents were published in an Adobe PDF format. The City is providing the General Plan update, Sharp Park Specific Plan and DEIR in Word Format as a courtesy to expand accessibility of the Plan Pacifica documents to the general public, some of which have reported a desire to be able to directly search or copy and paste text from the documents.
The Word Format documents are presented in an alternative format without final styling, layout, pictures, and figures that were incorporated into the official versions published in Adobe PDF format and as a result, the page numbers in the Word Format text documents will not be the same. However, the substantive text of the Word Format and Adobe PDF documents are identical.
The official form of the Plan Pacifica documents continue to be posted in Adobe PDF format on the Project Documents page. To avoid confusion, the City encourages all public commenters to reference the Adobe PDF page numbers contained in the official versions of the Plan Pacifica documents when submitting public comments. Using the Adobe PDF page numbers will aid the City in associating public comments with the corresponding locations in the Plan Pacifica documents..
